Malden Street Cleaning & Parking Guide

Maldens street sweeping program resumes on May 1st. The Department of Public Works sweepers will remove dirt and debris on an ongoing, regular basis through November 1st. We would ask residents to take a moment to familiarize themselves with the street sweeping schedule and to post it in a convenient location.

Points to Remember:

  1. NO ON-STREET PARKING ALLOWED on a regularly scheduled street sweeping day. Violators are subject to a fine. Please note this rule will only impact one-side of the street at a time so refer to the "odd/even side sweeping" schedule.
  2. Neighborhood Street Sweeping will take place between the hours of 7:30 am and 12:00 noon.
  3. On regularly scheduled street sweeping days, residents are encouraged to sweep debris and sand from their sidewalks into the street for the sweepers (No leaves please).

Regarding the parking ban:

To avoid being ticketed or towed, you must seek off-street parking. The locations are the Early Learning Center, Beebe, Forestdale, Ferryway, Linden and Salemwood Schools as well as downtown at the CBD Parking Garage. Vehicles can remain in these lots until the snow emergency is lifted but you must monitor 311 to find out when to remove your vehicle from these lots.
